In 2003 the founder of Tera Deo Electrical Engineering and Design Consultancy started ELR Electrical Engineering Support Services. Working with large electrical engineering companies like: ABB, Actom and Siemens, he realised that the work load in engineering offices often fluctuates as work load is normally determined by the volume of orders received and management has little control over these fluctuations. So, the intention was to generate income by rendering a professional electrical engineering support service to the electrical engineering sector at competitive prices.  

There are also companies from other engineering sectors for example: mechanical, process engineering, civil and structural, instrumentation and control, etc. whom are engaged in projects that involves an electrical component. As it would normally not be cost effective for these companies to appoint competent electrical staff on a full-time basis, these companies would benefit greatly from outsourcing the electrical work to a professional an experienced company like ELR Electrical Engineering Support Services.

Over recent years our clients have surely realized that technical skills have become scarcer as many engineering professionals have emigrated or have retired from the work force. The numbers of the newly graduated engineers, technicians and qualified apprentices do not meet the national demand and these potential candidates do not have the necessary experience and skills that the industry drastically requires.

Since 2003 the business progressed from delivering an electrical engineering support role to an advanced level: where we are ready to partner with clients offering our expertise, experience, technical and project knowledge on a consultation and advisory basis. In order to fulfil this role Tera Deo Electrical Engineering and Design Consultancy was launched in March of 2021.
